Yellow split peas are grown in Victoria. They are grown without use of chemical and artificial fertilisers and using Demeter biodynamic principles which as a result improve the health of the soil. Yellow split peas are split which makes them quicker to cook. Split peas are a great source of protein and can be used in soups, casseroles and also in slow cookers.
